Les Bolland

Les Bolland is a PGA-qualified golf professional, author, coach and golf club maker. Les was a tournament player from 1974 to 1977 on the European tour. As teacher and club professional in Europe from 1978 to 1990, he taught a wide range of students from beginners to professionals. Since 1990 he has offered his revolutionary new method of instruction, Swingolf®.

Les teaches internationally, offering a variety of venues for his instruction. He also specializes in making personal, made-to-measure golf clubs, has an English language book on the market and two instructional books published in the German, Austrian, and Swiss markets as well as DVDs.

Career Highlights

2013: English-language Swingolf instructional book released

2006: Awarded the honor of "Fellow" of the British PGA; one of a small number of professionals to receive this distinction.

1994 - present: Les Bolland coaches Swingolf privately and at seminars and workshops worldwide. Also offers custom, made to measure, "Les Bolland Design - Swinger Golf clubs".

2004: Release of second book, Swingolf - Golf the New Way II, on the German, Swiss and Austrian markets.

1999 - present: Began association with internationally renowned Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, offering annual Swingolf and health programs.

1994: Swingolf base established in Florida, U.S.A., also offering custom made clubs. Registration of Swingolf trademark in U.S.A.

1993: Les Bolland's Swingolf DVDs (Part One and Two) released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

1990: Les Bolland's book, “Swingolf, Golf the New Way", a title he copyrighted, was published for the German speaking markets of Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Implementation of his own Golf School offering seminars in Swingolf.

1986 - 1990: Head Professional/Golf Manager - Golf Club Spessart, Frankfurt.

1980 - 1990: Earned continuing education certificates in numerous British PGA and USPGA programs.

1983 - 1986: Gained PGA Diploma in Golf Management. One of only seven professionals to obtain this distinction

1983 - 1985: Head Professional, Waldkirchen G.C., Germany. First experience teaching the blind.

1978 - 1982: Adopted Yoga for Golfers and trained in Barefoot Shitasu including Macrobiotic yin/yang principals. Head Professional, Kitzbuhel Golf Club, Austria. Custom-made club service began.

1974 - 1977: Joined the European Tournament Players Tour qualifying for the British Open in 1974.
